Depart Happy Trails @ 10 AM for Pickles Butte Shooting Range
Hot dogs for lunch.
We will meet  at 10:00 for the ride out, those that want  to meet us at the range should plan on 11:00. the ride to the shooting range is pavement.

I need just one more challenge point to make it to the silver level of the challenge, So I'm "posting my own ride". Nothing difficult, just going to explore some gravel and maybe some two track between Homedale and the Owyhee reservoir.  I may get there early and have lunch at the little restaurant across the street from the Shell. Lets leave the gas station in Homedale @ 12:00.

There's still a lot to work out (like whether I'll actually be able to do the ride or not) but I want to get it out there on the calendar. 

If you don't know about my High Ride series then you might want to ask around before you think of signing up. Last time we did the ride we had:

-A broken subframe (Katy)

-A hole in an engine case (Alan)

-A smoked clutch (Ryan)

-Blown wheel bearing (me)

-Broken shift lever (Jimmy B)

-Several major crashes

-Torn off skid plate (Thane)

Ride Description:

Mexico & Central America Motorcycle Adventure
with Lynn Brown and Thomas Beez, February & March, 2012

In the beginning, Lynn (from Boise) and Thomas (from Germany) had been dreaming about this exciting adventure for a long time.
Much planning, many e-mails between both of us and a number of late night phone calls finally brought this dream to reality.

This adventure began in Phoenix, Arizona on February 8, 2011, two guys, two KLR's and off we go the Mexico & Central America.
