The site lists this one as a 2, but I think it's closer to a 3. I did it on my GS but it would have been more comfortable on a smaller bike. It's doable on an adventure bike. There was still quite a bit of snow up there, and I had to push my bike through a couple of sections. Came up 4.5 miles short of the checkpoint. I came in from the East. Not sure if there are other ways of getting in.

the road in started nice. the last few miles were silt beds, soft dirt and a mix of rocks sharp and pointy. My ridding buddy fell off on one of the soft areas. no damage just some dirt and dust to wipe off.
