Site Sponsor: Under the Bitterroot Sky Guesthouse

Enjoy a restful retreat in the Bitterroot Valley, halfway between Missoula and Hamilton (roughly 7 miles north of Stevensville). Whether traveling for business or pleasure, you’ll appreciate the gorgeous views and the comfort and charm this country guest house offers. Relax inside or on the wrap-around covered patio – both offering beautiful views of the Bitterroot Mountains just a few miles away.

Enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Kick back and gaze at the stars around a rustic firepit.

You’ll appreciate nearby access to hiking, fishing and other outdoor activities in the Bitterroot valley. Less than a mile away (as the geese fly) is the Lee Metcalf Refuge so deer and geese are regular visitors. In spring and fall, you have an excellent chance of watching Sandhill cranes meandering around the property and you can often spot many species of hawks and the occasional bald eagle overhead year round.

The area boasts several fine dining and casual restaurants plus excellent brewpubs. Depending on the season numerous festivals, farmer’s markets, and events will give you plenty to do.

If dining in, bring your own food to the new kitchen, which is equipped to meet your cooking needs. The television is set up with a Firestick and free WiFi is available. One bedroom with double bed and we could also supply an extra long cot and bedding for that extra person.. Bathroom has tub, shower, sink and toilet. Access to washer, dryer and utility sink upon request.
