Ride Description:
Ride to see the solar eclipse and have a picnic at Crane Creek Reservoir. Bring your own dark solar eclipse glasses available on amazon. Order early as they might be in high demand. You might want to bring a mat and blanket also. There will be lots of people around main roads so don't plan on eating at any restaurant. We will be using back routes to avoid the crowds. Can pick up fuel in Emmett or Horseshoe Bend on way back so would need about 140 miles. Fuel might be available in Sweet but expect long lines. We are expecting 2 million visitors in Idaho during this event.
If skies look like they will be overcast, I will cancel event with two days notice and travel to a better area to see the eclipse.
This is a 99-year event in Idaho.

[name] => Heavyweight Bikes
[description] => These bikes typically boast engine displacement greater than 800ccs. All that power comes with a price; heavyweight bikes top the scales over 400 pounds and often have lower ground clearance than other classes of dual sports. They have greater weight management capacity, and are the most comfortable way to travel 2-up. They are also favored by people who like to pack large quantities of gear.

[description] => These motorcycles are usually 550ccs or less. They generally weigh less than 275 lbs. Although their carrying capacity may be smaller than their beefy cousins, they typically enjoy high ground clearance and great maneuverability in difficult terrain.

[description] => These bikes typically have a displacement in the 550cc - 800cc range. They usually weigh between 300 and 400 pounds. Middleweight bikes are generally single cylinder machines, designed to provide adequate off-road performance in most conditions, while still delivering stability and comfort at high speeds.

[description] => Slightly more challenging than a level 1 ride. A rider with minimal experience will still feel comfortable riding a larger bike (such as a V-Strom 650) on a level 2 ride. Level 2 routes include primarily gravel roads with tighter corners and steeper grades. You may encounter some very easy double track. You should be comfortable with steady speeds on straight gravel, averaging 40 m.p.h. when appropriate.
