Four Seasons ride

By Seamus - Posted on 22 May 2010

Myself and JTM took a quick ride this morning. A chilly morning but good a looking start to the day. The sun was beginning to shine for a while

On the way over to Prairie it started to rain and the roads became slippy but fun. On an increasing scale of one to ten on pucker factor, it was probably around the three mark.

It then started to snow and that made things a lot more interesting as snow was sticking to the visor and the inside of the visor was clogging up severly hampering visibility. Every 30 seconds or so, we would have to wipe off the snow while one handed fishtailing...pucker factor went up one or two on the scale.

We then stopped for a nice lunch in Prairie, not that there is a lot of choice of restaurants in Prairie , but the food was actually very good.

We ate and waited out the weather a while, then took off and we hit more snow, heavier than before, when we got to Mountain Home, it was snowing quite heavily, there was a snow plough on the 84. Visibility on the 84 was miserable for miles.

I think we got all four seasons in one day today
