Login Form

You have arrived at the new and improved online home of Idaho Adventure Motorcycle Club. If you haven’t done so already, please use the username and password you received via e-mail to log in. The log in form is on the left hand side of the page.

Edit TabThere are a few things you may want to do right off the bat. First, you should change your password to something that is easy for you to remember. To do that, click “My Account”. It’s the first golden bullet on the left hand side of the page. Click the ‘Edit’ tab under your username. Enter your personalized password in the “Password” box. Enter it again in the “Confirm Password” box.

Signature ScreenshotOptional: While you are here, you can also add a custom signature that will be displayed below your comments and forum posts. To do that, enter your signature in the “Signature” box.

Upload Avatar ScreenshotOptional: Now would also be a GREAT time to upload a profile picture. (Your picture file will need to be no larger than than 200x200 pixels in size.) Once you have an appropriate picture on your computer (and you know where to find it), click the “Choose File” button. Browse to the picture file on your computer and double click on it. (Here’s an article that explains how to resize images on Windows Computers. )

Click the Save button at the bottom of the form to save your work. You should see a green bar on the screen letting you know that your changes have been saved.

Contact Information ScreenshotYou should finish filling out your profile while you’re at it. Under the edit tab, click on “Contact Information”. Information you provide on this page is not visible to other members, except IAMC administrators. They will use this information to contact you and/or your emergency contact if the need arises. Click the “Save” button when you have filled out these fields.

Next, click the “Other Information” link. The answers you provide here ARE visible to other club members. Don’t be shy. Our members use this information to find people who like to ride the same way they do. It’s an easy way to start getting plugged in! Be sure to click the “Save” button when you’re done!

Now your profile should be all set up. When you view your profile you can click on the blue text under Skill Level, Difficulty, and Speed to see who else gave the same answers as you.

Work time is over, kids. Now check out some of the cool new features when you have the time…

  • Check out our new Calendar
  • Sign up for an event by clicking the Event Title on the calendar, then clicking the blue “Sign up for (whatever the event is called)”, and finally clicking the large “Sign Up” button.
  • Look at the pictures in our photo gallery and give at least one of them a rating. Try uploading one or two of your favorite pictures by clicking the big yellow “Add New Image” button at the top right of the screen.
  • Read about IAMC Challenge 2010 and sign up if you haven’t already.
  • Post a new thread in the forum or reply to someone else’s. Our forum will be a fun place to poke around when everyone starts to contribute.

There’s a lot more to do here. When you get really brave, post your own ride, or route, or ride report. We can’t wait to hear what you have to say and get to know you better. If you have comments or suggestions, try posting them in the "Web Site Discussions" forum.

P.S., I have no idea why there are smurfs all over my screenshots except this article seemed kind of boring without them. - hez
