Three cheers for Craig Olson, who has been doing a great job this year of producing interesting & informative newsletters for us. These newsletters are usually distributed to members via e-mail, but now we've created a page here at motoidaho.com so you can download the PDFs anytime. You should see a new "Newsletters" tab at the top of the page, as well as a link in the left-side navigation menu.

A new page is coming to the Idaho Adventure Motorcycle Club website called "Challenger's Hall of Fame".  Anyone who makes it to all 45 challenge sites and posts their photographic evidence will be permanently pictured on that page.  We have several Challengers getting close to the platinum mark....looks like it's turning out to be a great summer for riding and we have alot of awesome pictures being posted from the sites.  Ryan William Cantrell is our first club member to make all 45 sites so we send a congratulatory shout out to him.  He racked up approximately

I'd like to encourage the Challengers to review the Challengers' Progress Report (found in the "Challenge 2010" site) and review the standings.  If I've missed any of your pictures (verify by clicking on the link to the Google spreadsheet to view the detail of which sites each person has visited), please send an email to motoidaho@gmail.com and I will get it updated next time I review recently posted pictures.  THAN K YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING KEEP ME ON TRACK.

Blackjack has interpreted the mystery site clue and posted a pic from the spooky place...."A spooky place in the middle of the face of a piece of club paraphernalia..."  He figured out the mystery site location without the last three words:  "in your wallet" and has posted a picture today from the site.  CONGRATULATIONS BLACKJACK!  Good sleuthing...  For the rest of you, check out your membership card and look in the center on the front of the card.  You'll see the name of a ghosttown there.

The Challenge 2010 event is well underway even with cool temperatures and somewhat unusual rainy conditions.  If you've been wondering who has visited the most sites or wish you could see an easy list of which sites you've visited, both a summary and detail report are now available.  You can access the Progress Report by one of two methods:  1.  Go to "Forums", "IAMC Challenge 2010" and look for the topic "Progress Report" or, 2.  Visit the Challenge 2010 page and scroll near the bottom (just above the map display of all 45 sites).

So, before we really really get under way on the challenge, I thought we should clear up how to post your "proof of arrival" images. We will probably have 40 or 50 participants in the challenge, figure an average of 25 images per participant. That's around 1200 images for somebody to sort through. Terri is probably going to be the one trying to keep track of who's been where. Let's make this as easy for her as we can. Who wants to be mean to Terri? Do you want to be mean to Terri? I didn't think so.

Bandanas have already found their way into a few Challengers' hands so start watching for pictures in the Site folders (on our Forum page for Challenge 2010).
